WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
The Project Management role is an introductory opportunity for those looking to develop project management skills while actively contributing to project design and production. Working under the guidance of senior leadership, this role helps ensure project tasks are completed accurately and on schedule. This role also provides exposure to staff management by assisting with technical team oversight and resource scheduling. Additionally, this role supports proposal preparation and billing, making it an excellent stepping stone for professionals looking to grow their expertise in project execution and client management.
Once selected to join our team, you will:
Contribute to landscape design and production effortsAssist with permitting and entitlement processesEnsure project tasks are completed accurately and on scheduleSupport project financial processes, including budgeting and billingAssist in preparing proposals and related documentationEngage in limited client interactionsHelp oversee technical staff and provide support for resource schedulingPerform other duties as assigned
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other discipline-specific softwareFamiliarity with Dunaway CAD standards and PLA CAD standardsStrong understanding of Dunaway design standards and PLA design standardsIn-depth technical knowledge of landscape architecture principlesBasic understanding of project financial and performance metrics
SKILLS:
Ability to manage multiple project tasks effectivelyStrong decision-making and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsEffective time management and organizational skillsAbility to recognize personal limitations and seek guidance when needed
EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of landscape design experience, including at least 1 year as a Registered Landscape Architect (RLA)8+ years of relevant landscape design experience without a degree3+ years of project management experience3+ years of client interaction experience3+ years of experience overseeing technical staff
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture, OR8+ years of relevant landscape design experience without a degree
