Polsinelli is seeking a Client Development Specialist to support our Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston offices. The successful candidate will work with the Senior Regional Marketing Manager and on the ground with our Office Managing Partners (OMP) to develop the strategic direction of the office and ensure that this direction aligns with and complements Polsinelli's firm-wide and practice-specific marketing efforts. The Regional Business Development and Marketing Executive will also provide leadership to, and coordination of, Polsinelli's marketing and public relations efforts in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston. The ideal candidate will be located in our Dallas office.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as marketing lead to assigned officesLead and support the development and execution of a local marketing strategy in partnership with the Office Managing Partner (OMP) and Senior Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) that supports the OMP-C strategyUtilize individual network as well as firm contact list to develop relationships with clients and prospective clientsStrategically curate events and meetings with prospective clients to foster introductions and strengthen relationships within priority industry sectorsUnderstand the "driver" practices in each market and propose activities, thought leadership, and present client and prospective client engagement opportunities for local attorneys in these areasBe aware of our competitive positions and use that knowledge to make informed recommendationsManage office marketing budgets and help actualize the goals aligned to the local marketing strategy in partnership with the Office Managing Partner and Senior Regional Marketing ManagerLead the development, coordination and tracking of high-level partnerships with brand-enhancing local professional and civic organizations, industry associations, and educational institutions to identify leadership positions, speaking and conference presentation roles, membership options and support local succession planning for the firm key organizationsPartner with the Marketing team on targeted list development, client communications, and promotionData entry for purposes of ROI and relationship managementKeep abreast of both legal and business markets and "best practices" in legal marketingAttend regular shareholder and committee meetings to ensure consistent and effective communication on issues and provide support for opportunities relating to marketing and brand awarenessOther duties as assignedEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's DegreeLaw Firm Experience (preferred)Ability to work outside of regular office hours, and a flexible schedule and means to travel as neededTakes ownership of firm-wide strategic initiatives as assignedExceptional people skills and high level of professionalism and client serviceDemonstrated ability to generate a range of solutions that meet goals and identify the benefits, costs, and risks associated with each solutionTeam player with a "can-do" attitude who demonstrates resourcefulnessExperience managing budgets and driving cost-effective strategiesProficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES
