Our PM Prep Cooks play an important role in preparing ingredients, maintaining organization, and supporting the kitchen team in executing dishes according to Tatte recipes and standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
We expect our Savory team members to:
Work collaboratively and support the team wherever neededBring passion, attention to detail, and pride to every task completedMaintain high standards for quality, cleanliness, and organizationLive Tatte's core values and help support our missionHave flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, afternoons, and evenings
Ideally, candidates will also have at least 1 year of experience working successfully in a fast paced kitchen environment.
Summary of PM Prep Cooks' Primary Responsibilities
Follow prep lists created by chefs and kitchen leadershipLabel and stock all cooking ingredientsComplete all prep tasks in an organized and timely mannerWash, chop, measure, and prepare ingredients including fruits, vegetables, and meatsEnsure all food items are properly stored and easily accessibleMaintain food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards at all timesMonitor food and cooling room temperaturesSupport inventory tracking and communicate restocking needs to kitchen leadershipLearn and execute cooking methods and techniques used within the kitchenAssist chefs with food preparation and additional culinary tasks as neededOther related assignments as necessary
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / WORKING CONDITIONS
