Descripiton:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead technical projects within the Infrastructure, Network, and Security domains. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of projects, such as patch management and infrastructure initiatives including Terraform Infrastructure as Code.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Ensure successful execution by coordinating internal and external resources. Team Management: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams and manage conflict resolution. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment of project objectives with business goals. Provide regular status updates and manage expectations effectively. Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies and reporting progress throughout the project lifecycle. Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring resource allocation aligns with project requirements and governance standards. Change Management: Lead organizational change efforts to ensure successful adoption of project solutions and adherence to new processes. Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies and stay informed on industry trends.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and nine (9) years of experience managing multiple IT and business projects. Advanced degrees in Computer Science, Business Management, or Project Management may substitute for up to four years of experience. At least two (2) years in a leadership role involving cross-divisional collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Professional certifications such as PMP or PgMP, and CSM or SAFe are required. Experience with MS Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, and GitHub is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in CompTIA Security+, Cisco (CCNP), Palo Alto Networks (PCNSE), or CISSP. Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification. Experience with PPM tools and knowledge in cybersecurity, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
The role requires a blend of remote and onsite work, with at least one day per week at our office in St. Paul, MN. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned project manager to lead impactful projects and drive organizational success.
