Medical Assistant Position We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Assistant for a 13-week long-term assignment with the potential for permanent hire. This role is ideal for local candidates only — must reside within 45 minutes of the clinic. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced outpatient clinical setting. Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory or clinical setting Assist with patient intake, vital signs, clinical documentation, and general administrative support Utilize Epic EMR system for accurate and timely record-keeping Maintain workflow in a busy medical office environment
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a clinical or ambulatory care setting (required) One of the following is required:
Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program Active CT CNA, EMT, or Paramedic Certification (preferred) In lieu of education, at least 2 years of direct patient care experience in acute or ambulatory care
Experience with Epic EMR (preferred) Prior experience in a high-volume medical office (preferred)
