Entering prescriptions into the computer system and calculation of doses Promptly, safely, and accurately filling prescriptions Preparation and packaging of medication and supplies to ensure timely shipment to patients
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 6:00pm EST Required Qualifications:
Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician License 6 months pharmacy technician experience Ability to lift up to 40lbs, stand/reach/twist/turn/stoop/walk for the entirety of your shift
Preferred Qualifications:
National Certification: CPhT (PTCB or ExCPT) 6 months work experience with Windows-based applications like Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications Computer keyboarding skills and aptitude 3 months experience in a pharmacy 6 months of work experience as a pharmacy technician 3 months of work experience in a pick/pack/ship environment 3 months experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions Medical billing, coding, and other medical assisting roles Customer service experience in an office environment
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40 Time Type: Full time Pay Range: The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $28.46 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
