Position Overview We are in pursuit of an experienced and empathetic Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist to be an integral part of our advanced imaging team. Description of Responsibilities
Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging Prioritize patient comfort and safety, offering clear explanations and compassion during each procedure Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, with a prompt reporting system for any issues Meticulously document procedures and keep patient records updated in the electronic medical system Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound technology and imaging best practices Education Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field A completed CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred Certifications Required
Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred Skills Needed
