Execute a range of ultrasound examinations including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout each procedure, ensuring they understand the process with clarity and compassion Partner closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-caliber diagnostic imagery Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions Keep meticulous records and update patient information in the electronic medical systems Stay updated on emerging ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols Educational Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly desirable Certification Requirements
Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the equivalent BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred Essential Skills
Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging methods and patient positioning Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Comfort in a dynamic environment centered around patient care Benefits Overview
