Craft individualized treatment plans tailored to address immediate objectives as well as ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing complexities. Deliver dedicated speech therapy focused on various areas including communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing issues. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team - from physical therapists and occupational therapists to nurses and family members - to devise integrated care approaches. Provide educational resources for both patients and their families to enhance progress outside therapy settings. Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and therapeutic interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the treatment continuum. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all applicable guidelines and regulations. Commit to ongoing professional development through continuing education and teamwork. Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within 30 days of hire. Skills
