Supporting various surgical procedures by effectively preparing and organizing the operating room Ensuring antiseptic conditions and following strict infection control protocols Providing instruments and supplies to surgeons and their assistants during operations Managing surgical tools and equipment pre-, intra-, and post-operation Keeping track of supplies to ensure they are ready for each surgery Working collaboratively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members for uninterrupted care Accurating surgical counts and maintaining proper documentation Qualifications Required:
Graduation from a recognized Surgical Technology program A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary Certifications Required:
Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is a must BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment) Essential Skills and Qualities:
