What You'll Be Doing In this fulfilling role, you won't just address physical issues. You will play a pivotal part in restoring everyday routines, rebuilding confidence, and rekindling joy in the lives of your patients. Whether assisting stroke survivors with fine motor skills or supporting orthopedic patients in their recovery journey, your expertise will be essential in delivering holistic, patient-centered care that cultivates resilience. This is not an environment filled with shortcuts or routine checklists. Instead, it's a place where each patient has a unique story, and each therapy session represents a vital chapter in their recovery narrative. Collaborating closely with fellow therapists, doctors, and social workers, you will craft rehabilitation plans tailored to the individuality of every person you serve. Why You Will Enjoy Being Part of This Team and Location We have cultivated a unique culture here; our rehabilitation team goes beyond traditional collaboration - we cheer for one another, share insights, and celebrate both minor and major accomplishments collectively. You will discover a workspace where your opinions hold value, your professional growth is of utmost importance, and visible impacts are felt daily. Then let's discuss Buffalo: a city well-known for its warmth and welcoming spirit. Here, you'll enjoy vibrant art scenes, innovative breweries, and scenic waterfronts. Imagine spending your weekends exploring the lush parks or enjoying a meal at one of the many acclaimed restaurants that boast international cuisines and trendy eateries. While the city thrives on energy and progress, there's also a laid-back lifestyle allowing for leisurely strolls by the waterfront and conversations that linger into the evening. Whom We Are Looking For We seek an individual who views occupational therapy as not just a job, but a profound mission. Someone who feels a surge of joy when observing a patient regain the mobility of their hand, requiring fewer assistive steps, or expressing emotions they struggled to convey previously. Whether you come with years of experience or have recently gained your OTR/L, you will flourish here with your heart, dedication, and genuine spirit. If the thought of merging high-caliber care with an enriched lifestyle appeals to you - welcome home. Let's Create Something Inspiring Together This is your chance to become part of a journey that transcends mere job titles. Here, your contributions will mold futures, uplift recoveries, and reclaim what was once lost. All of this happens in a locale celebrated for its balance of ambition and tranquility. If you're excited to grow, give back to your community, and immerse yourself in a caring atmosphere - we're ready to welcome you aboard.
