Perform in-depth patient evaluations, request necessary diagnostic examinations, and develop personalized care regimens Identify and manage acute, episodic, or chronic health issues, collaborating closely with physicians or autonomously (depending on credentialing) Provide education to patients and their families regarding preventive care, wellness strategies, and management of diseases Authorize necessary medications and interventions in accordance with your practice scope Engage in ongoing patient management and chronic disease care Work with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive, integrated patient care Maintain thorough and precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications for Success
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Licensure and Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Ohio National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days) Attributes That Distinguish You
