Duration: 3 weeks Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Structure:
Weeks 1–2: Classroom instruction & lab practice Week 3: Clinical experience with local healthcare partners

Personal care skills: bathing, grooming, feeding, ambulation Patient advocacy and communication Safe patient handling and observation techniques Specimen collection and post-mortem care

Paid training Program cost covered by MercyOne (with a 1-year work commitment) Guaranteed full-time (12_hour shifts) Patient Care Technician (PCT) role upon completion Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
Important Notes:
Attendance is mandatory – missing any part of the training forfeits your spot This program is eligible for the Iowa state nurse aide exam Pre-employment requirements must be completed before starting: drug screen, physical, and background check
