Learn and apply principles of electrical safe work practices and design of automation system within a manufacturing environment Work within the E&I teams learning to apply basic calibration methods for pressure, level, flow, temperature, and analytical instrumentation Learn and apply skills including drawing interpretation, basic three phase motor controls, electrical distribution, and PLC interfacing Shadow E&I teams during routine preventative maintenance tasks and on troubleshooting calls Demonstrate the ability to work safely by identifying hazards and adhering to safety requirements Utilize and/or learn a variety of instrumentation technology, including but not limited to; standard pressure/temperature/level/flow to analyzers such as pH, ORP, and conductivity Utilize and/or learn control systems to include Rockwell Automation programmable logic controllers and Honeywell distributed control systems along with various safety programmable logic controllers
