The Physical Therapist will also maintain a positive working relationship with other health professionals and ancillary staff. QualificationsJob Requirements of Registered Physical Therapists (RPT):
Current Connecticut License as a PT (Physical Therapist) Current CPR At least one (1) experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties & Responsibilities of the Registered Physical Therapists (RPT):
Creates, implements, and executes patient treatment plans. Communicates with patients, families, referring physicians, and other members of the team. Provides timely written documentation per facility and department requirements and as required by insurance provider to meet licensing, certification, regulatory, and reimbursement requirements. Develops and enhances clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional associations. Supports and participates in department operations and development. Reports any changes in patient status or needs to Director of Rehab and interdisciplinary team as appropriate. Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants with the goal of ensuring optimal patient care and achievement of outcomes.
