Über
High School Graduate or equivalent. Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR Certification through the American Heart Association. Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)(ARDMS) license. Certification in General, Vascular and OBGYN preferred. Minimum one-year of previous leadership experience as a registered Sonographer required, acute care experience preferred.
Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, regulatory or accreditation requirements. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g. The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR) and Title 22 standards and guidelines. Demonstrates compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times. Demonstrates strong leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public. Must have knowledge of PC and applications.
