Impactful Care Delivery: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and design customized, transformative treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each program participant.
Innovative Therapy: Administer cutting-edge occupational therapy programs, continually adapting and updating approaches to maximize participant outcomes and caseload efficiency.
Collaborative Leadership: Serve as a core member of our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, collaborating seamlessly with physicians, families, consultants, and community partners.
Mentorship & Supervision: Direct and inspire assigned staff and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs). You will play a key role in professional development, including onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
Continuity of Care: Establish timely home exercise programs and conduct home evaluations to ensure a smooth transition and long-term success for participants.
Compliance & Documentation: Maintain precise, timely documentation and weekly schedules in accordance with department standards, licensing requirements, and strict ethics of confidentiality.
What You Bring to the Team Education & Experience
Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in human services.
Preferred: One (1) year of specialized experience in neuro-rehabilitation.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
Active Occupational Therapist License (OT/L) in good standing in the state of Georgia.
Active member in good standing with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
Additional Requirements
Ability to travel as needed to support participant home evaluations.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Physical Strength: This position involves heavy work requiring the exertion of up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds constantly to safely move objects and support participants.
