Join a dedicated healthcare team in the heart of the Midwest region, where your role as a Dietary Support Aide will be essential in maintaining patient satisfaction and food safety standards. This position involves washing, sanitizing, and organizing patient and cafeteria trays, utensils, and dishware, as well as delivering meals promptly to patient areas. Key Responsibilities
Wash, rinse, sanitize, and air dry dishes, pots, and pans according to assigned duties. Deliver patient meals timely to ensure satisfaction and proper nutrition. Assemble patient trays following the daily menu. Maintain temperature and cleaning logs to uphold sanitation standards. Keep work areas and equipment clean, neat, and organized. Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Experience Up to 3 months of food service experience preferred, but on-the-job training is available. Requirements
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform basic math. Capable of standing and walking for extended periods. Ability to read, write, and understand policies and procedures. Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds during shifts.
Working Conditions Work environment includes exposure to heat, noise, wet floors, hot steam, water, chemicals, glass breakage, and sharp utensils. Interaction with patients may occur. This role offers a warm, supportive environment with opportunities for growth within a regional healthcare system serving a broad six-county area in the Midwest.
