Demonstrate high standards of integrity by supporting the College's mission, vision and values. Maintain a visible presence on campus. Maintain effective working relationships to ensure institution-wide teamwork. Attend provided/necessary trainings and other meetings and committee assignments to support effectiveness within the position as required. Maintain high regard for student privacy in accordance with the FERPA privacy policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring that assigned tasks are completed in compliance with various institutional and regulatory requirements. Perform other functions as assigned by management. Requirements Master's degree required. Certified in athletic training by the Board of Certification
Current certification in First Aid, CPR / AED as required by the Board of Certification New York State Licensure (or be eligible) required. Valid driver's license required. Maintain and report continuing education units every two years as required by the Board of Certification Ability to be sensitive to and respond to the needs and concerns of students, faculty, College staff and the public. Ability to work under pressure with a high tolerance for interruptions, and the ability to work with diverse groups of people. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds Must be able to work on your feet for an extended period of time Evening and weekend hours required, in addition to potential early mornings and holidays as required by the athletic schedule.
