Develop and maintain safety programs aligned with OSHA and ISO 45001 standards Conduct routine safety inspections to identify and mitigate hazards Investigate accidents and incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions Deliver employee safety training (PPE, emergency response, safe work practices) Maintain accurate documentation for incidents, inspections, and training records Partner with leadership and employees to promote continuous improvement in safety culture Stay current on regulations and industry best practices Interface with regulatory agencies and external safety vendors Supervise Safety Technician
Requirements for Safety Coordinator:
At least two years of safety coordination experience Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance Certifications preferred: CSP or CHCM Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Ability to frequently stand, walk and lift up to 50 lbs
