Conduct comprehensive assessments on patient wounds and develop an individualized treatment plan Monitor and document the healing progress of patient wounds Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care Provide patient education on wound care, prevention, and management Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, and other necessary procedures Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards Requirements
Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program Hold a valid state license and be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Experience in wound care preferred Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families and staff Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Benefits
