RN Unit Manager Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center (SBVCC) is recruiting for a Nurse Manager for a 60-bed unit with a mix of skilled and long-term care residents. This position is primarily Monday-Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm. Unit Managers are assigned to an on-call rotation schedule which may include working in the evening, after midnight, or on the weekends. Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center; named for two Medal of Honor recipients – Colonel Van Barfoot and Colonel Carl Sitter – provides the gold standard in quality care for Virginia's Veterans. This single-level facility features 200 single-occupancy rooms across four nursing units. Sitter & Barfoot employees enjoy the following benefits!

Summary of Responsibilities:
Provides supervision to staff. Manages of resident care and care plans. Conducts appropriate reporting and rounding with safety monitoring. Evaluates policies, programs and services consistent with the Department of Nursing procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in VA. Experience in leadership or management.
Additional Considerations:
Nursing experience in a long-term care or adult geriatric setting.
