Conduct a variety of clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols. Ensure the accuracy of test results, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform essential maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing, as necessary. Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new colleagues or students, and help maintain the highest standards of lab quality. Keep the work environment clean and safe while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards. Education
Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree and ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Certifications
ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire. Maintain your certification throughout the duration of employment. Skills
