Ensures that infection control procedures are followed and quality control standards are met Prepares room and equipment for stereotactic biopsies and other procedures Prepares/maintains all paperwork, x-rays, and charts related to completed procedure Positions patients and operates equipment to produce most reliable data Performs preliminary x-rays of patients May function under surgeons' directions as assistant and mammographer during surgical procedures Conducts post procedure cleaning of room. Restocks all supplies and verifies the proper placement and operation of all equipment Follows preventative maintenance procedures for equipment used Performs all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school and ability to meet requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Registered mammography tech. Prefer one plus years of experience in a medical radiology setting Strong interpersonal and analytical skill
