Mammography Technologist This position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in an outpatient setting, either fixed or mobile, functioning in a lead capacity. Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA either as designated Quality Control technologist as under their direction. Responsible for the effective delivery of clinical and technical departmental operations on a daily basis. Participates and is engaged in a team leadership framework, maintaining a positive approach and attitude. Responsible for troubleshooting and escalation of service requests for equipment repair. Dependent on location, may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams, perform bone densitometry (DEXA) or perform breast related special procedures in conjunction with physician staff. Required Qualifications:
Formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiographic Technologists (ARRT). Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire. National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire. 2 years full-time mammography. Prior general radiography (Dependent on location).
Preferred Qualification:
Previous lead responsibility.

As a Mammography Technologist, you will:
Perform 2-D/3-D screening mammography studies independently Perform all required QC testing, data entry, and mammography tracking documentation tasks Assist patients from check-in through exam completion and provide patients with white glove, compassionate service Perform x-ray studies as needed
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $105,000.00 - $150,000.
