Responsive Recruiter Faulkton Area Medical Center is looking for motivated and dependable Dietary Aides to join our team! This is a great opportunity for high school students or anyone looking to gain experience in a healthcare setting while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Schedule Part-time hours, weekdays with some evenings and weekend shifts. What You'll Do As a Dietary Aide, you'll help support our dietary team and ensure patients receive safe, quality meals. Responsibilities include:
Assisting with food preparation and meal/snack service Setting up trays, loading food carts, and delivering meals throughout the facility Washing dishes and maintaining a clean kitchen environment Restocking supplies and rotating food using FIFO (First In, First Out) methods Monitoring food and supply dates and keeping snack areas stocked Following food safety and sanitation guidelines
What We're Looking For
No experience required—we will train you! Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to follow directions and complete tasks independently Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (including some weekends) Friendly and respectful attitude toward patients, staff, and visitors
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Active role requiring standing, walking, and light-to-moderate lifting throughout shifts Indoor kitchen setting with a focus on cleanliness and safety
