Assists the physician in the performance of cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology studies.
Acts as a liaison between the patient and the cardiologist to ensure coordinated and compassionate care is delivered.
Utilizes equipment and techniques in a manner that protects the patient, self, and staff from unnecessary radiation.
Ensures the safe operation of highly sophisticated imaging, monitoring, and data recording equipment and monitors the quality of the work to ensure that high-quality, diagnostic images and safe levels of radiation output.
Qualifications
Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology 1-2 years experience Related Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Catheterization Lab or Special Procedures experience. or
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT
ARRT Certification Required
Healthcare BLS Required

The pay range for this job begins at $33.23/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience. Remote Work/Work from Home This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
