This is a temp-to-hire Medical Assistant position within an Electrophysiology Cardiology clinic. The role involves both clinical and administrative tasks, potentially including travel to satellite clinics. The ideal candidate will be open to permanent relocation to Seattle, WA, if offered a permanent position. Location:Seattle, Washington, United States Responsibilities:
- Refills - Chart prep - Inbasket help - EKG - Heart Monitor placement - Post Op Calls - Travel to satellite clinics regularly (Edmonds, Ballard, Redmond, Bellevue) - Answers unit phone and directs calls accordingly. - Performs data entry into electronic medical database systems. Documents patient care and related duties appropriately. - Performs selected patient registration activities. - Coordinates equipment/supply needs. Notifies appropriate department of equipment malfunction. - Performs any other related duties (e.g., clerical, technical duties) as assigned. Required Skills & Certifications:
- At least 6 months of experience working as a Medical Assistant - BLS certification - EPIC charting experience - Reliable transportation Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- MA-C certification (MA-R will be considered) - Cardiology clinic/unit experience - Primary care setting experience Special Considerations:
- Must be open to permanent relocation to Seattle, WA for the assignment and potential for perm. - Candidate is expected to have reliable transportation (NOT PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION) and no additional scheduling restrictions. - Facility may call off traveler UP TO 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks) Scheduling: - 5x8hr Days, 0830-1700, Mon-Fri
