Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with safety and infection control protocols. Welcome patients and provide clear education about procedures to patients and their families. Assist patients by transporting them to examination rooms and helping them onto the examination table. Operate CT scanners using appropriate scan parameters, adjusting KV and MA settings according to patient needs and regulatory guidelines. Manage contrast injector delivery systems and screen all contrast procedures for risk factors, documenting findings accurately. Record relevant patient history, note any unusual conditions or limitations, and document incidents or variances as required. Qualifications
Strong customer service skills with a compassionate approach. Experience in fluoroscopy, emergency room, portable radiography, minor invasive procedures, and some operating room exposure is required. Preferred experience includes CT procedures in a medical center setting and invasive CT procedures. At least one year of hospital-based clinical medical experience is preferred. Licenses and Certifications
California Registered Technologist (CRT) license is required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) CT certification must be obtained within one year of hire or training start. Venipuncture certification required within six months of hire. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Healthcare Provider is required upon hire.
Additional Information All candidates must successfully complete a physical evaluation, urine drug screening, and background checks prior to employment.
