Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare, social services, or related environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with standard office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working as an intake coordinator or in a similar client-facing role. Knowledge of relevant privacy laws and regulations, such as HIPAA. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Bilingual abilities or additional language skills to support diverse client populations. Responsibilities:
Demonstrates safe and correct restraint procedures and documentation as per hospital policy. Attends and documents 90% of the Behavioral Health Department Staff Meetings. Maintains confidentiality of patient, department, and hospital information. Completes designated portions of the pre-admission form within the time frame and submits it to Charge Nurse for review Notifies the Registered Nurse of the patient's desire for treatment and the patient's response to any previous treatment to assist in determining the need for further assessment and documents in the pre-admission form accurately and appropriately.
