What You'll Do as a Companion Caregiver: As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide a range of services to help our clients maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Key duties include:
Companionship: Provide friendly, engaging conversation and emotional support. Light Housekeeping: Help with cleaning, tidying up, and organizing to ensure a safe living environment. Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare meals that meet the dietary needs of your clients. Transportation: Take clients to doctor's appointments, social activities, errands, and more. Medication Reminders: Help clients stay on track with their prescribed medication schedules. What We're Looking For in You: We're looking for a compassionate, dedicated individual who embodies these qualities:
Positive Attitude: You are approachable, energetic, and enjoy making a difference in others' lives. Great Communication: You listen well, communicate effectively, and are comfortable interacting with clients, families, and team members. Reliability & Accountability: You show up on time, are dependable, and take pride in your work. Adaptability: You can handle changing situations with ease and are proactive in meeting client needs. Integrity: You take pride in your ethical standards and always act in the best interest of your clients. Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. At least six months of caregiving experience is preferred, but not required. A compassionate attitude and a desire to help others. CPR certification is recommended, but not required (we can help you get certified). Must have a valid driver's license and reliable, insured transportation. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Experience in caregiving is a plus, but the willingness to learn is essential.
