Location: Don't love to commute? We'll do our best to provide clients as close to you as possible. Competitive Pay: We start our caregivers at $18 per hour Flexibility: It's hard to find a job that balances your time with school, kids, or other priorities. We'll do our best to provide flexible options that work with your schedule. Referral Bonuses: Earn money when your qualified friends come to work for Golden Harmony. Education and Training: We provide 5 hours of onboarding training. We also offer live training classes throughout the year as well as a large catalogue of online courses to keep your skills sharp. Paid training: Get paid while you enhance your skills and knowledge base. Holiday Pay: Get paid time and a half on designated holidays. Workers Compensation Insurance: Rest assured that if you suffer a work injury our Workers Compensation Insurance will assist with coverage. Mileage Reimbursement: get paid for the miles that you use running errands for your client or transporting your client to events or appointments. Health, dental and vision benefits: to all team members who work 30 hours or more a week
Requirements:
Experience: If you love seniors or have experience caring for older adults, we'd love to talk to you. Skills: We're looking for individuals who are compassionate and service minded. Experience providing assistance with cooking, light housekeeping, transportation, engagement in activities. Characteristics: You're a great candidate if you love spending time with seniors and enriching lives. This is an autonomous position, so self-motivation and a willingness to learn is key to success.
Responsibilities:
Engage the client in activities and conversation that enrich their life. Encourage light exercise to keep the client active and physically moving. Remind the client to take medications Tidying up the house to keep the environment clean and enjoyable for the client. Preparing snacks and light meals for the client to enjoy during your visit. Transportation to medical appointments, errands, and fun outings.
