-Work with infusion pharmacist refilling prescriptions, preparing delivery tickets. -This is a desk position, so requires experience with computers, customer service over the phone. -The team the PSR works on has patients who are on biologics, chemotherapy, and TPN (total parenteral nutrition). -Most of the medications that the PSR works with are quite costly, so attention to detail and accuracy are of the utmost importance. IDEAL CANDIDATES FOR THIS POSITION WILL POSSESS:
A strong focus on patient care The ability to easily integrate into new pharmacies Knowledge of various computer systems A desire to expand pharmacy skills or varied experience The ability to work independent from other pharmacists
