Performing detailed patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and creating tailored care strategies Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions in coordination with physicians or independently (as permitted by credentials) Providing education to patients and families on wellness, prevention, and comprehensive disease management Prescribing treatments and medications within your professional scope Involving in patient follow-ups and ongoing management of chronic conditions Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to guarantee cohesive and inclusive care Maintaining comprehensive documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program Necessary Credentials
Current Nurse Practitioner license in Hawaii National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Essential Attributes
