Conduct thorough evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using both standardized measures and observation-driven insights. Design customized treatment plans aimed at both immediate objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing aspirations. Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions emphasizing speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills. Partner with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to devise seamless care approaches. Educate patients and families to support therapy advancements outside of clinical encounters. Assist in delivering occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring a smooth continuum of care during the treatment path. Keep accurate, timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational policies. Remain updated on the latest advancements in the field through ongoing education and peer engagement. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet achieved. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire. Skills
