Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) Position: Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA) - Aspen Alcove Bardstown Schedule: 12 hour shifts Day and Night Shift Location: Bardstown Ky Compensation: Based on Experience At Aspen Alcove we are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care that enriches the lives of our residents. We are looking for a Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA) to assist in administering medications and support our residents in the memory care unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to caregiving. Essential Duties:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper documentation Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines Take amazing care of our residents
Work Experience:
Certified Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA) CPR certification Previous experience in memory care or a similar setting preferred Strong understanding of medication administration procedures and protocols Ability to work effectively in a team environment
