Athletic Trainer5Sign-On Bonus | Relocation Assistance | Open to New GraduatesEmployment Type: Full-Time Job Overview: MLR Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer (AT) to join our interdisciplinary sports medicine team. In this role, the AT will provide on-site athletic training services at designated schools and community events. Under the supervision of a physician, the AT will offer a variety of services, including injury prevention, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning. Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Coverage: Provide athletic training services at assigned schools and community events. Patient Care: Offer comprehensive care, including prevention, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to Premier Health standards. Professional Practice: Participate in continuous education to remain up-to-date with industry trends. Public Speaking: Engage in public speaking opportunities to raise awareness and educate on sports medicine topics. Cost Management: Assist with cost management initiatives within the sports medicine department. Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to athletes and other stakeholders. Educational Requirements:
Minimum Level: Bachelor's degree Degree Type: Bachelor of Science or equivalent Major/Area of Study: Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or a related field Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current Athletic Training license in the State of Ohio Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification Experience:
Minimum Required: No prior job-related experience Preferred Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience Benefits:
