Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostics, and creating tailored care strategies Assessing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently (as credentialing permits) Empowering patients and families through education on wellness, prevention, and disease management Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with your professional scope Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care effectively Cooperating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care Maintaining accurate and complete documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications We Seek
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in South Dakota National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capacity to obtain within 90 days) What Makes You Special
