Prepare patients for office visits (vitals, chief complaint, documentation in EMR) Assist with exams, medication administration, and point-of-care testing Coordinate referrals and gather info for medication pre-authorizations Maintain accurate patient records and follow HIPAA guidelines Restock exam rooms and manage clinical inventory Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and providers
Qualifications:
One (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred OR completion of a Medical Assistant or equivalent training program preferred. Demonstrates basic efficiency in using electronic medical records, general computer technology, accurate typing, and proper grammar. Basic medical terminology preferred.
Purpose of Clinic Resource Allocation Pool:
To provide replacement staff for leaves of absence, call-ins, and vacation leaves. Provides flexible working options. To cover the critical openings in clinics that require specialized training
