Conduct patient assessments, physical exams, and order diagnostic tests. Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with clinical protocols. Monitor therapeutic interventions and coordinate patient care with healthcare providers. Ensure compliance with medical quality standards and regulations. Attend training sessions and participate in outreach activities. Collaborate with other healthcare providers and attend treatment team meetings. Maintain knowledge of current drug abuse trends and treatment. Assist nursing team and report any workplace hazards or security issues.
Qualifications:
Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of employment. Maintain a current DEA license and CPR/First Aid Certification. Experience or understanding of chemical addiction preferred. High integrity, sound judgment, and efficient work ethic. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently under pressure. Proficiency in basic computing and data entry. Knowledge of medical equipment and procedures.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Adequate speaking, hearing, and vision abilities. Prolonged standing, bending, and occasional use of protective equipment. Variable workload with periodic high stress. Standard medical office conditions and interactions with patients. May require use of protective equipment.
