X-Ray Technician Location: New York, NY 10002 Start Date: 06/08/2026 End Date: 08/08/2026 Duration: 8 Weeks Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Position Type: Contract / Staffing Supplier Sourced Position Overview The X-Ray Technologist will operate radiologic imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance. This role involves direct patient interaction, exam documentation, radiation safety, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with clinical staff. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and position patients for X-ray procedures Operate radiologic imaging equipment safely and accurately Maintain radiation protection standards for patients and staff Process and review radiographs for image quality Document procedures and patient care records accurately Troubleshoot imaging equipment and coordinate repairs if needed Maintain inventory of radiology supplies Follow infection control and safety protocols Participate in continuing education and yearly competency requirements Support team operations and additional departmental duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology Active New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.) ARRT Certification REQUIRED Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and radiation safety
Experience
Open to candidates with 0–2 years of experience New graduates with proper licensing/certification may be considered
