Adhere to safety protocols focusing on areas such as safe patient handling, materials handling, and infection control. Prepare, assemble, deliver, and retrieve patient menus according to prescribed diets. Assist patients in completing menu selections compliant with their dietary needs. Communicate effectively regarding patient care and food service issues to the department. Perform clerical tasks in the Food & Nutrition office, including maintaining organization and efficiency in the department. Maintain proper levels of office and menu supplies. Assist with trayline, food service aides, or catering as needed. Perform any additional duties as requested by the supervising nurse.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience. BLS certification (CIRH ONLY - unless required by state).
