Licensed Practical Nurse Shores of Worthington is looking to hire Licensed Practical Nurse candidates to become a part of our team! Shift - Day (6A-2:30P) Part time, Evening (2P-10:30P) Full time and Part time Shores of Worthington is a Residential Health Care Facility striving to provide the highest levels of quality care through continuous improvement, and the involvement of the interdisciplinary team and the entire community. Shores of Worthington strives to respond to the rights, needs, and concerns of its residents, families, and staff by creating a caring environment in which each person is respected for his or her individuality and treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. The Licensed Practical Nurse responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing direct patient care in accordance with state, federal and facility guidelines Supervising CNAs Medication administration • Wound and treatment care Provide general nursing care to patients in accordance to the facility nursing policy and procedure Addressing problems identified in the patient care plan for RN Nurse review
Qualifications & Skills of Licensed Practical Nurse
Current license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents
