Reviewing the patient treatment plan and preparing each procedure prior to the patient's appointment. Educating the patient on the treatment given during their visit. Assisting the Orthodontist chairside in all aspects of treatment. Accurate charting and documentation in the patient's treatment plan. Creating a comfortable environment for the patients and caregivers Providing patients and families with clear orthodontic care instructions and oral health education. Maintaining a thorough understanding of office policies and clinical procedures. Taking x-rays, digital scans, and photos for patient treatment. Monday - Friday 7:55AM - 5:00PM Full-Time Position 30-40 hours/week Pay Range: $25 - $33 Hourly Must be able to occasionally commute to all 5 practice locations - Albany, Delmar, Latham, East Greenbush, and Clifton Park Benefits:

NYS Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is preferred Candidates without current registration must be willing to complete a NYS accredited dental assisting program and obtain RDA licensure within one year of employment (employer sponsored for qualified candidates) Orthodontic assisting experience is beneficial, but not required
