They also complete consult requests through the advice of the physician, utilizing the Computerized Patient Record System. When necessary, they refer eligibility enrollment and means test to the appropriate area. The Medical Support Assistant ensures that patients are scheduled according to the provider's orders. Medical Support Assistant: REQUIREMENTS Education: A minimum of a High School Diploma. Experience: At least one year's worth of vocational training. Certification/Licensure: Must be a Certified Medical Assistant. Working Conditions: The Emergency Physician will work primarily in a hospital setting, with frequent interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. This position may require working irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Emergency Physician may also be required to respond to emergencies and provide on-call support as needed.
