Deliver Contractor Safety Program packages and track responses. Assist affected employees with the completion of DOT packets. Track progress and identify information gaps. Update various tracking sheets, including employee professional licenses, training reports, and safety incentive program metrics, and DPU inspections.
Update chemical and confined space inventories. Assist with the evaluation and documentation of permit-required confined spaces. Digitize asbestos records and update tracking sheets. Assist with the identification of signage needs across the Boston and Cambridge sites. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and walk in both office settings and industrial environments. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting. Basic Qualifications Second or third-year student currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or another relevant degree. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future. At least 1 year of relevant work or internship experience, preferably a sophomore or junior.
Other QualificationsProficient in MS Office Suite and other computing skills. Strong analytical, data management skills. Ability to perform various tasks efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication (interpersonal and digital) skills. Excellent organizational skills. Physical Requirements Must submit to company sponsored pre-employment drug screening. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk in industrial settings, go up and downs stairs, and work in and around warm, humid, and loud environments.
