Perform thorough assessments and develop problem-oriented treatment plans with clear objectives. Ensure therapy plans are implemented effectively and modified based on patient progress. Provide instruction and counseling to patients and families for safe home care and continuity. Regularly evaluate therapy effectiveness, consulting with physicians and care teams to optimize outcomes. Maintain high standards of clinical excellence and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Stay current with best practices through ongoing education and interdisciplinary collaboration. Comply with all regulatory and safety standards. Education and Experience
Clinical doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. Preferred: At least one year of physical therapy practice experience. Licenses and Certifications
Current, unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy in Washington State. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of therapy theories and clinical concepts. Excellent communication skills tailored to diverse audiences. Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients. Proficient in accurate documentation and independent decision-making. Organized with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements Includes frequent lifting and carrying of various weights, standing, walking, bending, and other physical activities consistent with therapy duties. Work Environment This position offers flexible scheduling with 8-hour shifts in a 40-hour workweek under a service contract.
