Engage in focused, one-on-one therapy that enhances communication skills, language proficiency, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing abilities. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop holistic care strategies. Provide education for patients and their families to ensure consistent progress beyond therapy sessions. Partake in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, guaranteeing seamless continuity of care along the journey. Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational mandates. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field through continuous learning and peer interaction. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) issued by ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of joining. Skills
