Degree from an accredited university Current License issued by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners Special Knowledge/Skills: Effective/efficient oral and written communication skills Reliable transportation to/from work and between work-sites Efficient mobility within the work-site Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records General knowledge of computer systems and software applications Ability to serve as supervisor for occupational therapy assistant and serve as professional student supervisor Experience: Experience in pediatrics and/or the school setting desirable One year of experience preferred Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Use evidence in practice, evaluation, data collection, documentation and recommendations. Evaluate to determine educational need for services. Provide intervention to support student participation and performance in accordance with state laws and/or professional standards. Document and maintain service-related records. Participate in professional growth activities. Perform other duties as assigned.
