Shift: 12-hour days, Mon-Sun 7a-7a (typically grouped in 1-week increments; flexible weekday/weekend options)
Hours per Week: 36
Start Date: June 15, 2026
On-Site Position: Required
Required Qualifications - Orthopedic Surgeon MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Minimum 1 year of experience in orthopedic surgery or equivalent clinical training
Active Pennsylvania medical license in hand or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) approval
Ability to provide ED call coverage, inpatient floor consults, and post-operative follow-up
Effective communication and collaboration with hospital staff and multidisciplinary teams
Current BLS required; ACLS preferred
Primary Responsibilities Provide ED call coverage for orthopedic trauma and urgent cases
Perform inpatient floor consults for orthopedic needs and acute injuries
Conduct surgical cases originating from the ED and scheduled OR procedures
Deliver comprehensive post-operative care and follow-up outpatient visits
Collaborate with hospitalists, ER providers, nursing, and ancillary services to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
